Bangkok -Indoor activities for kids & babies.

Activities for kids and toddlers in Bangkok (closed and air-conditioned)

In the last few years, Thailand has become an attractive destination for families with kids, in all ages.

I have decided to give the kids their well-deserved honor, and dedicate an entire chapter for them in the website, filled with updated and high quality info.

On the website you can already find articles about places such as –

“KidZania”,”Flow House” closed hall wave surfing, Karting and more.

This time, I have decided to pay attention to even the tiniest of kids (starting from 6 months and up).

This article will shed light on a few places that were established especially for kids and babies, offering hours of fun for the whole family, in a dedicated, closed and air-conditioned location.

Bangkok is a gigantic city, bubbly and amazing, and a visit requires the right planning, as a wrong one can lead to a total nightmare, therefore it is important that you give this amazing city the proper attention!

Believe me when I tell you, even the strongest of men will start to crack after an hour of walking in the hot and humid weather of the King’s Palace and such…

Be assured that the kids, especially the younger ones, will not enjoy strolling the markets and buying knick-knacks…

For your sake, and for the sake of your kids, I have gathered a few places of fun and games that were made especially for this purpose and they are of high quality, closed, air-conditioned and conveniently located in the city center.

There are also more attractions around, so you have the option to split up to groups if you wish to do so…

And now, for the attractions!

This is an activities and games compound, suited for kids 6 months and up.

The place contains many rides, a small skating ring, slides and zip-lines, electric

bikes, a drawing area, cooking and more. There is also an in-house restaurant.

Activity Hours: Every day between 8:30 in the morning and 8:30 at night.

Location: A small shopping mall called – “Park Lane” – Sukhumvit Soi Street

(Ekamai) 63 opposite Ekamai Soi No. 2

Transportation: A Taxi or the Train (BTS) to Ekamai station and from there, about 500 meters, on the left sidewalk.

No other attractions, worth mentioning in this area…

Similar in nature to PlayTime

Activity Hours: Every day between 10:00 in the morning and 10:00 at night.

Location: Sukhumvit Soi Street 26, behind the Big C Rama 4 and a small shopping center called K Village.

Transportation: no close train station within reasonable walking distance…

Take a Taxi or a Train to Phrom Phong station, and from there a Taxi, for around 3 minutes ride.

In the close vicinity you’ll find the following – the luxurious shopping center – Emporium, the small shopping center – K Village, Flow House – indoor wave surfing and a good and decent Japanese Massage parlor called – Yunomori

Fun Planet

While the two previous locations are very similar in nature, this is a totally different experience… Lots of electronics, computerized games and such…

Activity Hours: Every day between 10:00 in the morning and 10:00 at night.

Location: the new and gigantic shopping center – Central Plaza Rama 9 (Floor 7)

Transportation: this is the easiest one to reach, take the underground train (MRT) to Phra Ram 9 station, only 2 stops from Sukhumvit, there is an exit directly into the shopping center (Exit No. 2)

The shopping center itself is huge, with an abundance of shops, restaurants and such. The largest skating ring in Thailand is also located here, as well as Bowling and more. In my opinion, the best Computers and Gadgets mall in Bangkok, called – Fortune Town, is located opposite of the Central Plaza Rama 9.Indoor activities for kids

I did a small survey and overall, amongst all of these attractions, PlayTime is the winner, apparently, the sandbox is a big plus there…

These 3 compounds will provide you and your children with many hours of fun and enjoyment. I suggest you consider their needs and instead of dragging them through the endless hot and sweaty markets and shops, take them to one of these locations where all of you can have fun!Indoor activities for kids

In the clip below, you can see all 3 locations in details, I suggest you visit them all, and if you do, don’t forget to tell me your impressions…

I wish you and your kids many hours of fun!!!
